Cats are the undisputed champs at this, swiveling like satellite dishes as they methodically track the winter sun.  Not even a true frost, just a couple nights in the high 30&#8217;s crisped some leaves on a brugmansia, finally mushed Musa &#8216;Siam Ruby&#8217;s&#8217; leaves for the season, and have made limp most of the leaves on Euphorbia lambii, the tree euphorbia.  But chlorophyll is definitely stirring.  Tulips are nosing up.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i52.photobucket.com\/albums\/g23\/botanizeme\/2011\/11011morn001.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"Photobucket\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Fresh growth on Salvia cacaliifolia.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i52.photobucket.com\/albums\/g23\/botanizeme\/1223morn013.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"Photobucket\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Pelargonium echinatum is budding.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i52.photobucket.com\/albums\/g23\/botanizeme\/1219morn026.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"Photobucket\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Hang on, little damselfly.<\/p>\n<p><\/big><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The damselfly holding on tight, waiting for the morning sun to reinvent stained glass with its wings.
