Divine shrubbiness.  I never noticed its bloom last year, just the aftermath &#8212; the dried, beige flowers hung on forever and ever.  This is the most pristine I&#8217;ve seen it yet, silvery clean, with the tiny new flower buds scattered evenly like holiday ornaments.
