{"id":46660,"date":"2013-09-03T19:10:33","date_gmt":"2013-09-03T23:10:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/agrowingobsession.com\/?p=46660"},"modified":"2013-09-03T19:10:33","modified_gmt":"2013-09-03T23:10:33","slug":"yucca-blue-boy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/agrowingobsession.com\/?p=46660","title":{"rendered":"Yucca &#8216;Blue Boy&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><big>I&#8217;ve brought a couple home under the name Yucca aloifolia &#8216;Purpurea,&#8217; but I&#8217;ve recently been seeing it tagged as Yucca desmetiana &#8216;Blue Boy,&#8217; as it was here at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cornerstonegardens.com\/\">Cornerstone Sonoma<\/a>, in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cornerstonesonoma.com\/explore\/projects\/delmar-mccomb\/\">Transcendence<\/a> garden designed by Delmar McComb and Peter Hanson.  This yucca&#8217;s soft, recurved leaves are very unlike the typically stiff leaves of Yucca aloifolia, so we seem to be shuttling between various names until the nomenclature is definitively settled.
