Ever-gorgeous Agave lophantha &#8216;Quadricolor&#8217;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i52.photobucket.com\/albums\/g23\/botanizeme\/blog\/oct2013\/P1019811.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\" photo P1019811.jpg\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Agave geminiflora<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i52.photobucket.com\/albums\/g23\/botanizeme\/nov2013\/P1010535.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\" photo P1010535.jpg\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Favorite season?  Agave &#8216;Mr. Ripple&#8217; shrugs those enormous shoulders with exquisite indifference.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i52.photobucket.com\/albums\/g23\/botanizeme\/nov2013\/P1010507.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\" photo P1010507.jpg\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s when things quiet down in November that I notice how the patio off the kitchen is book-ended with Agave &#8216;Blue Flame,&#8217; and marvel at how I managed to pull off a bit of symmetry<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i52.photobucket.com\/albums\/g23\/botanizeme\/nov2013\/P1010545.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\" photo P1010545.jpg\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i52.photobucket.com\/albums\/g23\/botanizeme\/nov2013\/P1010543.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\" photo P1010543.jpg\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Agave desmettiana &#8216;Joe Hoak,&#8217; still pristine in November before mollusk season starts in earnest.
