{"id":88120,"date":"2018-10-01T19:06:40","date_gmt":"2018-10-01T23:06:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/agrowingobsession.com\/?p=88120"},"modified":"2019-03-11T13:14:03","modified_gmt":"2019-03-11T17:14:03","slug":"willy-guhl-spindle-planter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/agrowingobsession.com\/?p=88120","title":{"rendered":"Willy Guhl Spindle Planter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There&#8217;s really no other Mid Century Modern planter quite like the Spindle by Swiss designer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pamono.com\/designers\/willy-guhl\">Willy Guhl<\/a>, made with his student Anton Bee in collaboration with Eternit in 1951.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i52.photobucket.com\/albums\/g23\/botanizeme\/august2018\/1U6A1409-X2.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\" photo 1U6A1409-X2.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>Mitch showed me some photos from an interior shoot he did recently, and I only had eyes for these planters, also called Diablo or Hourglass planters.  I see these containers occasionally but knew nothing of their history and hadn&#8217;t heard of Mr. Guhl before.
