    Hi, I accidentally ran across your blog when googling moon lagoon eucalyptus. Turns out you live near me! I am off of Terraine Ave and 8th. My husband has finally greenlighted my succulent garden overhaul. I was wondering if you recommend anyone that could help me design my garden? If not, my second question is – what do you find to be the best nurseries to find more rare succulents? Any help would be much appreciated!!! Thank you =)

    Hi,
    I was filling a cart online at Far Reaches Farm and decided to read more about one of the plants I was vacillating about. I came across your blog on Gladiolus papilio ‘Ruby’ (which I will definitely purchase). I loved your blog plus, even though I am in a wet zone 8 I have plant envy of others in drier zones. Your options are so vast!
    I just wanted to let you know that Far Reaches is actually in Washington not Oregon. I live near Seattle and take day trips to their nursery several times a year as they have such treasures and the owners have turned into friends. It’s one of my favorite nurseries.
    If you are ever in the Pacific Northwest I highly recommend you pop over to visit them in Port Townsend. They would be happy to give you a tour of their treasures being propagated from their trips to Asia. Super exciting place. 🙂

    Hello,
    First, you blog is a joy to read, informative and well written. With each new post I always learn something. Excellence always comes at a cost and I appreciate the work that goes into your writing.
    Recently I was in New York and visited the High Line. If you’ve not seen it, I wold urge you to check it out if you are ever nearby. It did get me to wondering. What would a High Line in Los Angles or San Diego, or any other part of southern California look like? I would love to see how an imaginative designer could reinterpret the “New Perennial” style for out part of the world.
    Again, thanks for the continuing good work

    Do you know a blogger you can recommend in the climate zone of the San Francisco Bay Area?

    Hello;
    Love your blog and appreciate your great eye for plant combinations. Can you suggest a vine, or combination of maybe two, for a stucco wall with full sun exposure, Santa Monica area? Looking for something a bit more interesting than star jasmine, which was recommended by the landscape designer. The house is Spanish style and we are looking for color. Thank you in advance!
