My first ones just opened yesterday. Not the ‘alba’, though–the free great-great-great grandchildren of the only one I ever had to buy.

Oh my Denise, doesn’t that get huge ? I’ve never been able to find the right spot. Hope you’ll show us the open flowers..maybe on bloom day ?

I bought the purple variety from Annie’s a few years ago. It didn’t bloom but the foliage was to die for. Then I didn’t protect it from winter’s ravages and it died. Darn it. Just too cold here for it. Your photo is divine. Another shot when it’s blooming, pretty please!
