Scanning my book shelves, I just can’t come up with a book to sacrifice. But that’s what second-hand book shops are for, right?

    Actually, Richard Brautigan wrote a book of poetry that included seeds to plant. It’s called “Please Plant This Book”.

    Deanne, it is a compelling image — not too sure about the practical side though.
    Cora, I know In Watermelon Sugar, Confederate General From Big Sur, Trout Fishing in America, but never heard of Please Plant This Book. Bless Mr. Brautigan. Thanks for the reminder.
